Big daisies and small asters—painted and speckled in yellow, orange, and cream—gather in a solid cherry wood "vase."

From bottom to tippy-top, it measures approximately 14" and holds a single taper candle on a spike.

The wood was hand-turned on a lathe by Brian Guido, the rest was handmade and assembled together by me. As a unique object there will be little quirks—paint speckles, spots in the wood—that to me make it special. These are the things that make it very much alive and give it its personality. Cherry wood deepens and gets richer over time. Wax may drip over parts of it. That is its life!
